Location of Lübeck

The Hanseatic City of Lübeck is located near the mouth of River Trave and the Baltic Sea, about 50 km north of Hamburg and 70 km southeast of Schleswig-Holstein’s capital, Kiel.

Coming from Berlin or Hamburg:
Take motorway A1, respectively A24, towards Lübeck / Puttgarden, and then take the exit to Bad Schwartau, after passing Lübeck.

Coming from Scandinavia:
Take the motorway from Puttgarden towards Hamburg.
Take the exit signposted Bad Schwartau - before getting to Lübeck.

By Train: Hamburg - Lübeck - Bad Schwartau.
By Air: Hamburg 55 km, Lübeck 10 km.
By Bus: There is a stop within walking distance.
